Valkyrie WIP

This is the inked version of a piece that has been up in the scrapbook for some time, and has actually been sitting around the studio for more than a decade waiting for colors. Hopefully now that I am comfortable with the digital colors, that may happen in this lifetime.

As noted in the title, this angelic figure is intended to be a valkyrie, with sword, armor, staff of authority and attitude ready to pick and choose the warriors of Valhalla.

I have not seen the original art in years, but as I recall, it is on 18x24 Bristol card-stock paper, and was done with graphite pencil and technical pen inks.
